My painted birdcage! This is at our corner office. The curtain rods has not come in yet for this space & we still can't find the perfect office desk.
Lime green wreath from Crate & Barrel. Have this now for five years.

We got an expedit skinny bookcase from Ikea. A whopping $79 bucks! I still have a ton of books to organize. But look at the coral from my fiancee's sister (via the Florida beaches) & these Thai Buddhas holding musical instruments (via my fiancees's Mom's attic). The vintage wheels from a local flea market.

Architectural drawings by me! The left one is a building I saw in Galveston, Texas & the one on the right, a building at The Art Institute in San Francisco.
Next project: install the rest of the rods & curtains, get somebody from Craigslist to install our bathroom wallpaper & installing a pair of ledges.

You have such attention to details. I love those mini Buddhas, as well as that Canary (no pun intended) birdcage!
i have the same chocolate brown wall in my bedroom where my LCD is mounted.
although i lean towards function more than aesthetics, i do appreciate classic beauty. on that note, love the drawings and the vintage wheels!
keep on being inspired, Mau :)

Great touches, Maureen! I'm very much in love with that vibrant birdcage, also :) If you found more, I would love to purchase - my Mom is on a mad search for them and has only been successful with finding one...
It's my first time to check out your blog Mau and I have to tell you I really like it. I have the same colors in my family room-- lime green, browns and espresso... And just like my good friend Machel, we have 2 chocolate brown walls in our bedroom and I love it.. bedroom is the last room to finish here in our house. I also have the same Buddha accents sent by my sis in law from Bangkok! I guess I can safely say that I will find time to check your blog :)And by the way, I DO feel bliss when I add small touches in my decor and interior design relaxes me too...keep designing and inspiring! (Loved the birdcage!)
