He built the bridge connecting the formal, classical styles of the past to the current, modern style of today.
2. "Never look back, except for an occasional glance, look ahead and plan for the future. Success is not built on past laurels, but rather on a continuous activity. I'll do the site launching post when I come back.Any ideas on how to do it?
I am loving that first quote.
To tell you the truth, I don't know any interior designers name accept Rachel Ashwell, and that's only because Shabby Chic was a client at my company I worked at in Los Angeles.
But I can tell you that I am in love with that top room, it's so bright and airy looking. I am a big fan of open spaces, and making things look peaceful and bigger than they really are (without that tragic ceiling-to-floor mirror walls that were all the rage in the 80's).
Hi Maureen,
Great idea! I knew the 3rd one was Kelly Wearstler...I'm always attracted to her designs.
xo
Fabulous and fun post, Maureen! I adore the last photo - as I studied Coco Chanel in school, I knew the answer to that one instantly! There's nothing like her taste...
Wow, the upside down text is cool!
Also, I love Coco Chanel's quote.
